Our Fall 2016 Plant Sale was held on Saturday, October 1 from 9am to 3pm and on Sunday, October 2 from noon to 3pm. THANK YOU TO ALL who staged and patronized this important fundraising event! The sale featured a full range of plants including water-wise selections, native plants, succulents and cacti, and, last but not least, a wonderful variety of winter edibles.
Here’s a partial list of the plants we had available, with even more plants that were available on the day of the sale.
Saturday activities included:
- demonstration tables,
- mushroom cultivation,
- floral design,
- aesthetic pruning,
- APLD and book sale,
- a children’s corner,
- live music, and
- delicious local food…those partaking supported culinary students who served healthy food options!
Sunday featured plant sales only, from noon to 3pm.
