Coming in January 2014 —

Introduction to Aesthetic Pruning (LH800) — a look at the theory, principles, and history of aesthetic pruning; the pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs to improve the garden and enhance each plant’s natural attributes in the urban and suburban setting.

Meets Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, 9:30 AM -11:50 AM, & 1:00 PM – 4:20 PM, Room H101

Tuition: $78.  Instructor:  Chris Ingram

Classical Western Floral Design (LH826)  — learn to identify classic western floral designs (such as the triangle, crescent, Hogarth curve, etc.) as well as recent trends, and then apply professional techniques to create elegant arrangements.

Meets Mondays, Jan. 27 – Mar. 17, 6:00 PM – 8:50 PM,  & one Saturday, Mar. 22 field trip, 9:30 AM – 12:20 PM, Room H105

Tuition: $150; materials fee: $30.  Instructor: Kay Wolff
