Permaculture Course Seeking Students!

Our featured class this semester: LANHT28—Permaculture.

Permaculture program founder and stalwart Christopher Shein is taking some time off from teaching, and Grey Kolevzon, a knowledgeable and engaging instructor, will be teaching LANHT28ABCD.

Grey will focus on four areas:

  • connecting personally to the living world (especially through field trips).
  • how to design a meaningful plan for sustainable community building.
  • site-based design and implementation for an actual project that includes such things as an outdoor classroom, a food production area, edible perennials and an orchard.
  • skill building workshops (through the semester).

For those of you new to Permaculture, LANHT28A will give you a solid introduction to the field, as well as ideas for jobs and careers. For those of you who have already taken the A section (or more), you can enroll in B, C, or D and get a new perspective on the field.

If you are interested – or even think you ~might~ be interested – in taking Grey’s class, please enroll as soon as possible to help keep it on the schedule. If after the first week of instruction (August 20-24) you decide for any reason you can’t or don’t want to take it, you can drop with a FULL REFUND (no financial obligation) up until September 3.
